As we refect on many of the wonderful experiences we had in 2012 we are forced to remember the most recent events such as the devastation to the Jersey Shore communities from Super Storm Sandy and the unspeakable massacre in Connecticut. We need to be aware that many emotional reprocussions may be apparent months after the actual crisis. Some children may become withdrawn, have difficulty sleeping alone at night, etc. If you become aware of emotional changes in your children and need some assistance or advice, please reach out to our Crisis Team liason Mrs. Adrienne Mahon, School Social Worker at ext. 236 or Mrs. Beth O'Reilly, School Guidance Counselor at ext. 218.
